Right: Bob shooting his 1990 version of the Michelangelo story, now in full color with special permission to shoot in The Vatican. I served as Associate Producer in this film, Michelangelo: Self Portrait.

I am proud to say that I worked for and with Oscar-winning filmmaker Robert Snyder for almost thirty years. Bob was nominated twice for the coveted Academy Award, The Hidden World, narrated by Gregory Peck and The Titan: Story of Michelangelo narrated by Fredrick March, and the winner of the first Oscar given to a documentary, 1950. Since then he has made films on Buckminster Fuller, Henry Miller, Anais Nin, Claudio Arrau, Willem De Kooning, Pablo Casals, among other artists and thinkers. Below are the films I was privileged to be a creative par of.

Left: With Bob at a special exhibition of his work, 2001. His inscription at bottom of image says, "For John, Congressional Medal of Honor, from Bob." Bob had a good sense of humor.
The 50-year seal refers to 50 years since he won the Academy Award for The Titan: Story of Michelangelo.
